FAQ

Do you offer sliding scale?

I have limited sliding scale times available during non-busy hours.

How long are the sessions?

A standard therapy session is 50 minutes long.

How often do we meet?

Most clients decide to attend therapy once a week depending on their needs. However, some choose to meet more often than that depending on the issues that need to be addressed.

How long will the entire process take?

Clients generally start feeling and functioning better after 6-8 sessions and accomplish many of their goals in a short period of time. However, some clients have interest in working on deeper issues that require longer investment of time and resources.

Do you take insurance?

I take insurance for all PPO-based plans as an out-of-network provider and are able to bill insurance directly. I am also able to provide a monthly summary bill (aka super bill) for clients who prefer it. However, any copays or deductibles are due at the time of service. Please check with your medical insurance carrier for information regarding deductibles and coverage.

Are you available in the evenings / weekends?

I am available on some nights during the week and Saturdays during the day.

When is the payment due?

The payment is due at the time of service.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted forms of payment.

What is your cancellation policy?

Appointments canceled more than 24 hours in advance occur no charge. Cancellations under 24 hours or no-shows require full payment for the missed or canceled session.
