The LGBTQ+ community has made significant strides in recent years, gaining civil rights and enhancing our quality of life. Yet, many still encounter persistent bias and carry the emotional scars of cultural and familial homophobia. These painful experiences—often rooted in growing up in a heteronormative society—can contribute to challenges like depression, anxiety, self-destructive behaviors, and interpersonal stress.
I offer a safe, nurturing space for you to share and heal every part of your journey—the highs and the lows. Together, we can celebrate your unique capacity for love while addressing the wounds caused by unsupportive or judgmental environments. Embracing these experiences is a powerful step toward healing and a more fulfilling life.
Some individuals in our community struggle with the compulsive use of party drugs during sexually charged experiences. What once might have been an exciting night out can unfortunately evolve into a painful dependence on substances like crystal meth, leading to estrangement from loved ones, work disruptions, and serious health concerns. I have extensive experience supporting gay men facing these challenges, both in private practice and in residential and outpatient settings. I am deeply committed to this work and offer training for both professionals and community members to promote understanding and recovery.
For many, chemsex—the use of drugs such as meth, GHB, or cocaine to enhance sexual experiences—can create an intense but ultimately destructive cycle. While it may initially heighten connection and pleasure, over time, it can erode emotional and physical well-being, making intimacy feel dependent on substance use. Shame, secrecy, and isolation often compound the struggle, making it harder to seek help. In therapy, we can work together to break these patterns, helping you regain control, rebuild healthy connections, and reclaim a fulfilling, substance-free sex life—without judgment and at a pace that feels right for you.
Our community’s creativity is evident in the diverse ways we form romantic and affectionate bonds. Whether you’re in a monogamous, open, or polyamorous relationship, I honor your choices and work sensitively with you to build a dynamic that feels happy and fulfilling for everyone involved. I can help you communicate more clearly, rekindle erotic desire and intimacy, or navigate the complexities of opening your primary relationship. If you’re starting or raising a family, I offer supportive family therapy that celebrates the full diversity of gender and sexuality. With decades of personal and professional immersion in the LGBTQ+ community, I’m here to support you on every step of your journey.
